Moonsploot Begins!

July 31st, 2026

Hello all, Adrian here!

It's been a long time coming… I'm happy to announce that Moonsploot is officially recording a full-length debut album here in Portland, OR at Overcast Audio (formerly Simon Studios).

While currently we are in the earliest of stages, we are nonetheless at peak excitement and can hardly wait for it to be released next year. It will still be some time before the bow is tied on this gift but I can tell you that there are 10 songs confirmed, but considering adding one or two extra. It will ultimately be dependent on funds but I think we can make it work!

As many of you know, this is a project I've been working on for the better part of 20 years. During that time I've played in several other music groups, including Descent of a Tyrant, The Super Cedars, L.I.K.E., and my little solo projects I release music under once and never again, moving straight on to the next alias. This new project titled “Moonsploot” is here to stay, and is my main focus of music going forward. This debut album will serve as a collection of songs I have written throughout my life and I am very proud of every single one, as they are not just a representation of my music- but a true representation of who I am.

For anyone keeping up with me outside of music you probably know me as “motherloosegoose” on YouTube or, if you are especially lucky, “StArSiNfInItYaUrOrA” on Twitch. These are really one and the same side gig that I started during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020-2022, with moderate success I might add! Unfortunately, as all good things do, it came to an end as work returned for us all and I put my streaming adventures to the wayside. If anyone reading this knows me from those days, you know I've slowed down a lot recently and now you know why!

So far, we have several demo songs recorded but as they are pretty rough all around, we've only uploaded 2 of them for you to check out. You can find them here on our website.

As that's pretty much all I have for you at this time, I just want to say with the utmost sincerity: I am very thankful for all of you who've stuck with me this far and encouraged me to follow my dreams, no matter how far out of reach they seemed sometimes. Troy and I will be in and out of the studio over the next few weeks and will have some more photos and videos for you then to chew on while we prepare the album. Cheers everyone!
